Awesome work, but...

…not. It is a roman legionary.

The centurion has/had the helmet with transverse crest, a sort of mail armor instead the Lorica Segmentata in the drawing and, when not in battle, a 'vitas'-vine-stick- which was used on the soldiers' back to disciplinate them.
